Desmond Hotel & Conference Center is a high-end family-owned complex in Albany NY.

Our primary competition in the Albany market was big out-of-state chain hotels.  We countered that with a campaign focusing on buying local.  We got the local media support it with a buy-local program (see TV commercial below) and made the Desmond’s owner the spokesperson.  We spun this into newspaper, magazine, radio and television advertising, plus all the free exposure from being the spokesperson.
